Last week we opened our doors, at both buildings, to all current parents to have a look around the nursery setting. The parents got the opportunity to speak to the staff who look after their children on a daily basis, to find out what the children are learning and to look through their childrens work.
Our Daycare children in the Busy Bee room visited B&Q as part of their 'builders' theme which tied in with Springfield building a housing unit next to the nursery.
The Caterpillar group thoroughly enjoyed searching for treasure at Linkwood as part of their 'In The Woods' topic. They had made their own camouflage binoculars for their adventure into the woods and were delighted when Murray found the treasure box hiding under a bush. It took a bit of a debate to decide which piece of treasure they would like to take back to nursery, but in the end they decided they would like the minion eraser. In return they left 4 little leap frog toys for the next treasure hunters.
The Christmas holidays are coming quick. The children have been very busy this week, with partys and plays etc. They have had lots of fun.
